LOUISVILLE, KY (November 20, 2018) – Yesterday, Kentucky Farm Bureau welcomed county Farm Bureau leaders and their newly-elected members of the Kentucky General Assembly to the state office in Louisville. State Representative-elect Kathy Hinkle of Lawrence County was in attendance. In preparation for the 2019 session of the Kentucky General Assembly, the meeting provided an opportunity to discuss issues facing rural communities.
“As an organization with a focus on grassroots efforts and advocacy, our job in Frankfort is to advocate for what our Kentucky Farm Bureau members determine to be important to them,” Jeff Harper, KFB Director of Public Affairs, said to the newly elected legislators.
