Lexington, Ky. —  Former Lawrence Co. Star Kensley Feltner and her Belmont Bruins will play at #16 Kentucky ( 9-1 ) Friday evening in Historic Memorial Coliseum.

This will be the closest that Feltner, a Sophomore guard, has played to Louisa in her two years at Belmont in Nashville, Tennessee.

The Bruins are 5-5 on the season but have played a really tough schedule so far against the likes of Kansas State, Duke, Ohio State, Michigan and Mississippi State.

Feltner is averaging 12.3 minutes per game and has played in all 10 games so far this season.

Kentucky has only lost game this season at #14 North Carolina on December 5th by the score of 72-53.

Feltner is expected to have around 60 family, friends and former teammates in attendance on Friday night.

The game will air on ESPN+ at 6:00.

KENSLEY’S COMMENTS

“… I’m very excited that Coach Bart has scheduled Kentucky this year, it’s a great opportunity for our team to play against another top 20 opponent. But it also is such a great feeling to be playing close to home knowing my friends and family from Louisa can come and support.”

“… Every year Coach Bart always builds one of the hardest Non-Conference schedules in the country for us to compete against the best of the best. In my opinion that helps us tremendously in conference to be prepared to compete against any team in the MVC.”

“… I’m so excited!! Can’t wait.”
