Karen Scarberry, 63, of Louisa, KY went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 16, 2022.
Karen was born April 13, 1959 in Kopperston, WV to the late Lloyd Meade and Helen Mollette. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her mother in law Barbara Scarberry and sister in law Freda Meade.
Surviving are her husband Daniel Scarberry; children James (Kathy) Fowler and Rebecka Scarberry and fiance Josh Laber; granddaughter Dakota (Ricky) Owens; great grandchildren Levi, Christopher, and Michael; siblings Diana (Ron) Endicott, Harold (Debbie) Meade, and Lowell Meade; favorite niece Ronda (Johnnie) Stafford; nieceTerri Lynn Clark; nephew Gordon Lee Endicott; in laws Daniel (Nancy) Scarberry; and special friends Patrick and Amie Price.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to help offset funeral expenses. These may be made online or at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, July 21, 2022 at 1:00 PM at the Young Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Preston Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Thursday, July 21, 2022 from 11:00 AM until time of service at the Young Funeral Home Chapel.
