JOHNSON COUNTY LAW ENFORCEMENT LOOKING FOR TWO LAWRENCE COUNTY RESIDENTS

WANTED PAIR PART OF 18 PEOPLE INDICTED BY JOHNSON COUNTY GRAND JURY ON 25 CASES DURING MID-SEPTEMBER 2021 SESSIONS

Law enforcement agencies in Johnson County, Kentucky are looking for a Lawrence County woman and also a Lawrence County man who were indicted separately in different cases last month in connection to criminal offenses they were arrested for in Johnson County back in the latter part of this past spring 2021.

Both individuals were among the eighteen people who were named in a total of twenty-five true bills indictments by the Johnson County Grand Jury that were handed down and were issued publically on Wednesday, September 15.

The two indicted Lawrence County citizens being wanted for by police in Johnson County (and the surrounding neighboring counties) and have been entered in the National Crime Information Center (NCIC); are the named following

Alexis J. Boyd, 27, of Louisa, Kentucky; was indicted and was charged with: First-Degree Possession Of A Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine); and First Offense Operating A Motor Vehicle Under The Influence Of Alcohol/Drugs Within 10 years: for allegedly possessing methamphetamine; and driving under the influence, when she was arrested by the Paintsville Police Department on May 26, 2021.

Corbie A. Fyffe, 58, of Blaine, Kentucky; was indicted and was charged with: First-Degree Criminal Mischief; Operating On A Suspended Or Revoked Operators License; Failure To Produce Insurance Card; No Registration Plates; and Failure To Report Traffic Accident; for allegedly damaging property on 7th Street in Paintsville that is owned and operated by the Paintsville independent schools with a total loss of $19,355.49; operating a motor vehicle while his license was suspended or revoked; without an insurance card; and that he was involved in a traffic collision and failing to notify authorities of the collision within a reasonable amount of time on when he was arrested by the Paintsville Police Department June 16, 2021.

Both Alexis Boyd and Corbie Fyffe are well known by area police agencies, as they each both have a sizable criminal past history in eastern Kentucky; with Alexis Boyd having been arrested at least 12 times on numerous charges since May 2013; while Corbie Fyffe has ben arrested at least 16 times on numerous charges since January 2009.
