John Ellery Boggs, born July 21, 1960, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 20, 2024. He was the son of John Taylor and Rose Boggs.

He is preceded in death by his dad John Taylor and one sister Sally Jo.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years Sandy and his special friend his dog Buddy. Also surviving are 4 sisters Sandy Bowling, Candy Farrow, Becky Young, and Vikki Boggs Crisp; a host of nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and other special family members.

John spent over 40 years traveling the roads of Blaine delivering the mail. He made numerous friends through the years. He will be missed by all.

Funeral services for John will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or the Lawrence County Humane Society.

Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mr. Boggs and his family.
