Joan C. Cox, 73, of Louisa, KY went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 27, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family.
Joan was born January 2, 1952 in Logan, WV to the late Lonzo and Dorothy Fields. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Joletta Cox; brother James Fields; and sister Oretha Whaley.
Survivors include her loving husband John Cox; children Jason Lee (Antenkia) Cox, John Patrick (Michelle) Cox, and James Logan Cox; grandchildren Brianna, Hayden, Allyson, Annabelle, Lillianna, Jayssika, Jonathan, and Veranika; brother Lonnie Fields; and sisters Ruby Adkin Waite and Georgie Artrip.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at 11:00 AM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the family cemetery at 2185 Hwy 2037, Louisa, KY.
Friends may visit the family on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel.
