1944 — April 4, 2026

Janice Marie Thompson Moore, 82, of Noris, KY went to be with the Lord on April 4, 2026.

She was a loving wife that devoted several years taking care of her late husband Charlie Moore. She was a loving mother, mother in law, and grandmother. Janice was a devoted member of Cando Free Will Baptist Church until her health no longer would let her attend. She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star Lowmansville Chapter 497.
Janice is survived by her son Doug and wife Jennifer; Granddaughter Shelby and soon to be son in law Trey Brumfield. She is also survived by a brother Bruce (Donna) Thompson; sister Maxine Cade; aunt Mary Lou Fessler; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Hobert and Ethel Pack Thompson; brothers Denver, Escom, Ronnie, Arnold and Bobby Thompson.
A special thank you to Larry & Sharon Scaggs for all the love and support you have given to Janice and the family over the past year and a half. Without their support these past few months, caring for her at home would not have been possible. Thank you to Sherry Blackburn, Frances Saul, and Elizabeth Coleman for also helping.  A special thank you to Elizabeth Collins, APRN, and Dr. Workman for her care and to her Community Hospice Nurse Jenny who was so supportive.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at 12:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Richard Boyd and Brother Joe Castle officiating. Burial will follow in the Judd Cemetery.
Friends may visit the family on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel. Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mrs. Moore and her family.
