James Michael “Mikey” Mills, 58, of Huntington, West Virginia passed away on October 28, 2025 surrounded by family and friends. Mikey was loved and cherished by many people. His kindness, love for animals, and unbelievable sense of humor was unparalleled and will linger in the minds of many.
He is preceded in death by his father, Billy Mills; paternal grandparents Milton and Jessie Mills; maternal grandparents Lester “Cabbage” and Francis Copley; step father Jarvie Wallace; and brother-in-law Richard Doss, Jr.
He is survived by his mother Rosa Lee Wallace of Prichard, WV; two sons Marcus Andrew Mills of Blaine, KY and William Barber Mills of Huntington, WV; his beloved granddaughter Everleigh Rose Mills of Blaine, KY; two siblings William Lester Mills of Prichard, WV and Jessica Ann Doss of Fort Gay, WV. Mikey also leaves behind nieces and nephews that he loved like his own: Amber, Landon, Lucas, Marissa, Braiden, Audreyanna, Payton, Vicky, Willow, Lilly, Paskell, Aly, Chris, Breann, Bentley, Annaleigh, Katie, Xander, Corbin, Colton, Austin, Liz, Alice, Emilee, Geoffrey, and Isla.
The family sends great thanks to everyone for their support. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
