The City of Louisa Water & Sewer Commission has approximately 2400 surplus meters now open for bid. The meters are mostly brass bodies, ranging in brands and sizes. A few meters have plastic bodies and cast bodies, with stainless threads. Please submit bids per meter, based on the size of the meter. Available sizes are as follows: ¾” x 5/8”, 1”, 1 ½”, 2”, 3”, and 4”. Meters are sold as-is with no guarantee. All bids must be sealed and mailed to P.O. Box 608, Louisa, KY 41230, or placed in the drop box at the Water Office at 213 N Main Cross St, Louisa, KY 41230, and the City has the right to reject any and all bids. Bidding is now open and will close on 11/16/21. Any bids received after 11/16/21 will not be considered. Payment is due before receiving the meters; the purchaser will be responsible for loading and transporting meters. A city representative will be on-site to verify the number of meters at the appointed at the time of pick up.
