Louisa, Ky. — Lawrence County Junior Aryn Huffman was named the 58th District Volleyball player of the year this past week.

Huffman is the first player in Lawrence County Volleyball history to earn District player of the year honors.

Senior Brylee Stafford was named to the 58th District First Team.

Bulldog Head Coach Autumn Blevins

COACH’S COMMENTS

“… Aryn and Brylee have put so much heart into this team, working hard to grow not just on their own, but as a group. They are great examples of what our program is all about – creating a positive, supportive space where young women can step up as competitors and leaders.  Their work ethic and enthusiasm are continuing to drive us forward as a program.  I am proud of all they have accomplished this season. I look forward to seeing them take what they’ve learned and put it into action next season on the court as well as out in the real world!”
