McKenzie gets probation and chance to wipe record clean in felony criminal mischief case
Nicholas Ballou was in court to face murder charges of killing his two month old infant son Landyn in 2013. Ballou was already spending time in prison for two counts of criminal abuse. Landyn survived the beating but died from his injuries last year.
Also, David McKenzie, a former Louisa city council member was sentenced to probation with a pretrial diversion, which insures that if he completes his probation, his record will be wiped clean of these charges. He was charged with leaving the scene of an accident and failure to render aid as well as criminal mischief.
