Helen Harmon, 69, of Louisa, KY went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 28, 2025.
Helen was born November 12, 1955 in Lawrence County, KY to the late Homer Jay and Katherine (Henson) Cantrell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Homer Adam Cantrell.
Helen was a well loved lady in our community. She loved to visit with everyone and didn’t know a stranger. She was kind and loving to everyone she met.
Survivors include her son Alex (Janie) Harmon; grandchildren Christopher Matthew Harmon and Emily Rose Harmon; siblings Alberta (Joseph) Diamond, Lovada Cantrell, Jimmy Cantrell, Benny Ray Cantrell, Shawna Pankey, and Gloria Cantrell; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, August 31, 2025 at 2:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Wright officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery.
Friends may visit the family on Saturday, August 30, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel.
Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Ms. Harmon and her family.
