OnPoint Swish Wins Fifth Straight, Beats Greensboro At Hazard Memorial Gym

Hazard, Ky. — The OnPoint Swish won their fifth straight game with a 70-62 victory over Greensboro at the Hazard Memorial Gym.

Makayla Epps hit 4 three pointers, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and finished with a team high 23 points, Carla Booth had 17 points including 3 three pointers and team high 5 assists, JaVonna Layfield had a double double with 10 points and 11 rebounds, Dena Jarrells added 7 points, Kennedi Stacy had 4 points and 7 rebounds and Victoria Dunlap had 4 points each, and 6 rebounds, E’moni Washington had 3 points and Dasia Thornton chipped in with 2 points and 6 rebounds. 

The Swish hit 9 of 24 attempts from beyond the three point line and made 13 off 22 free throws.

The Swish ( 6-2 ) will now enter the playoffs and host at the Hazard Memorial Gym on September 15th. 
 
 
OnPoint will be well represented in the 2024 All-Star Game. 
 
 
Makayla Epps and JaVonna Layfield will play for the Dream Team.
 
 
 
 
Carla Booth will play for Team Supreme. 
 
 
The All-Star game will be played Sunday October 6th in Greensboro, North Carolina.
