Harold Edward Boyd, Sr., 78, of Louisa, KY (formerly of Pike County) went home to be with the Lord on November 6, 2018 following a lingering illness.
Born August 6, 1940 he was the son of the late Raymond and Ettie (Norman) Boyd. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Eugene Boyd and Ronald Boyd and his sister Helen Hayden.
Surviving is his wife Carol Kay (Southerland) Boyd; son Harold Boyd, Jr.; daughter Gayle Boivin; 3 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, November 9, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Fallsburg Tabernacle Freewill Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Hayes Cemetery on Spankem Branch Road.
Friends may visit the family on Thursday, November 8, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Fallsburg Tabernacle Freewill Baptist Church.
Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mr. Boyd.
