HAMMOND FILES TO SERVE THE PEOPLE OF ELLIOTT, LAWRENCE, MARTIN, MORGAN AND PIKE COUNTIES
(Pikeville, KY – January 10, 2020) – Pikeville attorney, Glenn Martin Hammond, filed to run for the State Senate District 31st. Hammond promises to fight for the working families and restore their faith in leadership. “I hear so often from people all across our district they feel that both state and local governments no longer work for them, but instead, for the special interests. I intend to change that and bring balance back to Frankfort. My only special interest will always be for the betterment of our people and communities in which we live,” Hammond said.
He plans to work diligently to bring jobs by always voting to build our infrastructure, expand reliable internet access and service across the district, improve our public school system, and combat the drug epidemic that is killing our society.
Glenn is a native son of Eastern Kentucky who attended the University of Kentucky and Salmon P. Chase College of Law graduate and has practiced law for over 23 years in Eastern Kentucky. He has two lovely daughters, Reese and Brianne and is active at his church Pikeville United Methodist.
Are you serious? Glen ran before and was everyone’s bff. He added me on Facebook and we talked occasionally back and forth. After he got his butt kicked in the election he turned his back on many people who had campaigned for him including friends of mine who spent money they couldn’t afford driving around and talking to people in the community just to have him be pouty and delete them in Facebook and ignore phone calls and messages. He showed his true colors and now we will show ours. After him deleting me I’ll now delete him. He’s too childish to fill such an important position. Maybe dog catcher or sanitation engineer but not senator
