Henderson’s Sen. Robby Mills, others to stand against medical cannabis
HENDERSON, Ky. – Kentucky Sen. Robby Mills, (R-Henderson) is among a group scheduled to gather Wednesday during a press event “outlining their united opposition to the passage of HB 136, a bill to legalize ‘medical’ marijuana in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.”
According to a press release from the conservative lobbying group Commonwealth Policy Center, the event will also promote “support for alternatives that promote responsible research.”
The event is set for 10 a.m. Eastern Time Wednesday in the Rotunda of the Kentucky Capitol building in Frankfort, where the Kentucky General Assembly is currently in session.
House Bill 136 passed easily in the Kentucky House and is now up for consideration in the state Senate.
According to the CPC news release sent out Monday afternoon announcing the Wednesday press event, those who attend will represent “health, law enforcement, and values groups.”
Among those listed to appear at the event, besides Mills, are:
Rep. Walker Thomas, (R-Christian)
Rep. Kim Moser, (R-Campbell)

LAWRENCE SENATOR PHILLIP WHEER, D-PIKEVILLE HAS NOT COMMENTED ON HIS FEELINGS ABOUT THE ISSUE.
Ignorance. Plain and simple.
I think they should have to wear signs stating who gives them the campaign contributions and who they are getting paid by besides their representative status
You right but the article already told you who that is by who it says is attending… “Health, law enforcement, and values groups”…
I think it help people with cancer and people is also that aids and ESP want to come back from the war if they would only have to get medical marijuana card and people with severe severe pain with it you would see lot of people come off opioid.
