Rape and Wanton Endangerment In Lawrence Co. Indictments for July, 2019
Methamphetamine is the leading cause of crime in Lawrence County for several months and shows no sign of slowing down despite the efforts by local law enforcement. A one year old child was exposed to this dangerous drug with the caregiver’s being charged with Wanton Endangerment.
Unfortunately this does not seem to be an isolated problem. Many places across the nation have experienced this problem and according to many sources, the drug became widely used after the “pill mills” were shut down and doctors have stopped prescribing narcotic medications easily. Some call this the second round of prohibition, (definition of prohibition) the act of forbidding something especially by law. Over prescribing was a huge issue that ruined the lives of many people, however addicts will find a crutch when they cannot find their drug of choice.
Rape of a Louisa woman by a Louisa man tops our indictments being the most serious crime carrying the most amount of possible time if found guilty.

To the Levisa Lazer: Why on earth would you publicize a rape victims name? This is so disrespectful.

Can you take Bobby Tripletts name out of it considering he did pass away.
