Here is what Jimmy said about ending his campaign for Coroner:
Susan-Mark;
I truly appreciate your friendship and support during this election however, due to my declining health, 1 will be unable to continue my campaign. I am officially withdrawing this week as a candidate for Coroner in Lawrence County Kentucky.
I’d like to thank the community and the citizens that have shown support for me and encouraged me and your kindness will never be forgotten. I have met and talked to many many wonderful County citizens. I think we all have the same common vision; we want the best for our county. I encourage everyone to get out and vote. Make your opinion and voice count. Select the candidates diligently that you feel what serve our county the best.
My doctor has advised me that it is not in my best interest to be coroner due to exposure to lots of germs and adverse conditions. I also have to consider my elderly father who I am caretaker.
I’ve always put family first thanks again to everyone I pray that God will continue to bless Lawrence County and its leaders, your friend and fellow Lawrence County citizen,
Jimmy Castle
