1941 —  2025

Garred Goff See, 84, of Louisa, Kentucky, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on November 16, 2025.

Born in Louisa to Adin and Susan See, Garred remained deeply connected to his family and hometown throughout his life. He carried the values of faith, family, and integrity that were instilled in him from an early age. Garred dedicated most of his professional life to Ashland Oil, where he worked as a trusted and respected accountant. Outside the office, he found joy on the golf course, where he spent many of his happiest hours sharing laughs, competition, and camaraderie with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his siblings, and his beloved wife, Rebecca Karen See, with whom he shared a lifetime of love and devotion. Their reunion brings comfort to those he leaves behind.

Garred is survived by his two sons, Garred (Bitsy) See II and James (Lisa) See; two grandchildren, Savannah (Evan) Towles and Tyler (Kylie) See; one step-granddaughter, Paige (Austin) Swiney; and one great-grandchild, Liam Towles. Garred cherished his family deeply, and his gentle presence, wisdom, and unconditional love will be profoundly missed.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at the First Baptist Church of Louisa, Kentucky. Visitation will take place from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by the funeral service at 2:00 PM. Burial will immediately follow the service. Garred’s family takes comfort in knowing that he is now at peace, reunited with loved ones, and resting in the eternal care of his Savior.
Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mr. See and his family.
