April 8, 1944 — August 31, 2025

Garnett Swann, 81, of Louisa, KY went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 31, 2025 at her home.

Garnett was born April 8, 1944 in Johnson County to the late Charlie and Angie (Salyers) Green. Garnett was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She was a member of Belles Chapel Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Cratis Swann; great grandson Charles Tackett; sisters Margaret, Goldie, Evelyn, and Pat; and brothers Alfie, Jimmy, Columbus Earl, and Alan.

Survivors include her children James (Tammy) Swann, Angela (David) Hughes, and Charles (Misty) Swann; grandchildren Justin Swann, Deanna Swann, Ashley Hughes, and Cooper Swann; great grandchildren Zachary, Olivia, Layne, Sterling, and Kennedy; special friends Harlan Dillon and Gerald Bryant, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, September 5, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Charley Free Will Baptist Church with Brother Joe Castle officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.

Friends may visit the family on Thursday, September 4, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Charley Free Will Baptist Church.

Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mrs. Swann and her family.
