Fred Roger Spurlock, 82, of Louisa, KY went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 3, 2026 at his home.
Roger was born March 9, 1944 in Lawrence County, KY to the late Fred and Emma Dorothy (Clay) Spurlock. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Dovie Spurlock; sisters Shirley and Louise; and brothers Paul and Tom.
Survivors include his children Randy Spurlock, Scotty (Marie) Spurlock, and Teresa (Greg) Bowen; grandchildren Cody (Christian) McComas, Shannon McComas, Elizabeth Bowen, Tony Bowen, Gregory Bowen, John Valalitski, and Gabby (Fred) Arthur; great grandchildren Haven McComas, Mack Arthur, Freddie Arthur, Scotty Arthur, Lilah Beth Bowen, and Gaven Lewis; and siblings Sharon, Dorothy, Wilburn, Joe, Irvin, and Kenneth.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at 11:00 AM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Spurlock Cemetery.
Friends may visit the family Tuesday, September 8, 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel.
