COACH’S COMMENTS
“… He fit right in from the beginning. He’s a ball player and other ball players recognize that. We knew that he could contribute as well — especially at first base. When we put him on the mound that’s where everyone seen the impact. He just goes out there and doesn’t get flustered and he just deals. Consistency is key and he’s got it. I can’t wait to coach him for 3 more years.”
“… Yes we did but ultimately our goal is to get to Murfreesboro every year. Once you get there everything resets and everyone has the same chance to bring home ship (championship). This upcoming year we have a great shot to get to the Boro and still have some pieces to get there the following year. For him the sky’s the limit as long as he continues to work and be developed. Drive and hard work he has, if all the tangibles play out we should see him playing at the next level after 3 more years.”
