Gretchen Lynn Bevins, 46, of David, KY., also known as Gretchen Woodruff, now faces charges of distributing meth and possession of meth and fentanyl with the intent to distribute.
The charges result from her arrest in Pikeville, KY. back on April 1, 2026, when police raided her hotel room as part of an ongoing drug investigation. At that time, police reported finding meth, fentanyl, cocaine, LSD, marijuana, and a variety of pills, along with cash and paraphernalia.
Gretchn Bevins now faces the possession with intent charge for that raid, as well as the distribution charge for an unspecified incident back in December.
Gretchen Bevins faces an enhanced sentence because she pleaded guilty in federal court in 2018 to conspiracy to distribute meth. Gretchen Bevins was sentenced in federal court to 45 months in that case, and picked up an additional 10 months for a violation after her release.
Because of the enhancement, Gretchen Bevins now faces up to 30 years for the distribution charge. and between 10 years and life in prison for possession with intent.
Gretchen Bevins is scheduled to appear on Monday, June 1, in U.S. District federal court in Frankfort, KY., for her arraignment on the drug charges.
