FFA Livestock Evaluation Team places 4th at FFA State Fair Contest
FFA students Emma Salyer, Brady Vinson, Wyatt Branham and Corbin Jordan competed at the state fair contest on Thursday, Aug 18 after giving 4H ham speeches. These 4 students were among 126 students competing.
Salyer placed 13th individually, while Vinson and Branham rounded out in the top 30. According to Branham, he “wished they would have had more cattle to judge.” Students judged a class of cattle, pigs, 2 classes of sheep and goats.
FFA Advisor Melissa Blackburn was very excited for these students and is looking forward to fall contest at Morehead State University.
