FELTNER, BELMONT DROPS CLOSE ONE TO KENTUCKY 84-78

Lexington, Ky. — Former Bulldog great Kensley Feltner and her Belmont Bruins came up just short against 16th ranked Kentucky 84-78 on Friday evening at Historic Memorial Coliseum. 

Kensley with former teammates, friends, and many more after the game. 

She had around 60 people in attendance for the game against Kentucky.

Feltner pulled down two rebounds, one on the offensive end and one on the defensive end and missed her only shot of the game a three pointer in the first half.

With the close loss the Bruins fell to 5-6 on the season and will begin Missouri Valley Conference play on Sunday against Bradley ( 6-5 ) at home. 

Feltner and her teammates listen to Coach Bart Brooks before the second quarter begins. 

#16 Kentucky moved to 10-1 on the year and will return to action on Saturday against Western Kentucky ( 9-2 ) at Home.
