EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT: Mrs. Wrendi McDavid Named Lawrence County High School Principal!

Following a successful interim period, Mrs. Wrendi McDavid has officially been appointed as the permanent principal of Lawrence County High School! Her leadership has been vital to the achievements of the 2024-2025 school year.

Mrs. Webb, LC Superintendent, expressed her confidence in Mrs. McDavid’s capability to guide the school and to further enhance the positive momentum established during her interim tenure.

She stated, “Mrs. McDavid has excelled as the LCHS interim principal this year, and I am confident she will continue to propel the school forward in a positive direction. Her dedication to students, staff, and our community makes her the ideal candidate for this role. I eagerly anticipate the continued growth and success of LCHS under her guidance.”

Mrs. McDavid is excited to continue working with the students, dedicated staff, and community to achieve shared goals. Mrs. McDavid explained, “Lawrence County High School isn’t just where I graduated–It’s where my heart is. I am deeply thankful for this opportunity to serve our students and lead alongside a community that supports its schools so strongly.”
