Eula “Boots” Caudill, 92, of Fort Gay, WV, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2025 at Cabell Huntington Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Her departure leaves a profound void in the hearts of all who knew her, but her memory will undoubtedly live on in the laughter and love she brought to those fortunate enough to cross her path.
Eula was born May 5, 1933, on Mill Creek in Fort Gay, WV. to John J. and Beulah Castle. Eula was a wonderful homemaker devoted to her ever growing family. Throughout her life, Eula enjoyed cooking, gardening, sewing and crafting. She loved nature and watching the flora and fauna of her Sunnyside home.
She is survived by her children; Mike (Kim) Caudill, Juanita Kay Webb, Nora (Gene) Pancake, and Deanna (Aaron) Banks; her grandchildren; Damian Caudill, Amy Ginn, Becky Webb, Brad Porter, Cara Dyer, Brandi Watts, Catelyn Banks, and Zoe Banks; 15 great grandchildren, and her special nephews and nieces.
Eula was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Kirk “Junior” Caudill, her brothers and their wives; Kelly (Lilly) Castle, John “Bud” (Mavis) Castle, Jr. and Bascom (Geneva) Castle.
As we remember Eula Caudill, we celebrate her life, filled with love, generosity, and a spirit that could light up any room. She will be profoundly missed, but forever cherished.
Private funeral services will be conducted Saturday, June 14, 2025. Private graveside services will follow in the Castle Cemetery.
