The project will be completed by contractor GSI and is scheduled to begin the week of March 23, weather permitting.

Due to the nature of the repairs, KY 3 is currently reduced to one lane in the work zone and will remain one lane throughout the duration of the project. Motorists should expect delays and are encouraged to plan accordingly.

Work will take place Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. The project is expected to take approximately 13 weeks to complete, barring any unforeseen issues or weather delays.

KYTC urges drivers to use caution when traveling through the area, watch for signage and flaggers, and be prepared for slowed or stopped traffic.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet appreciates the public’s patience as these necessary repairs are completed to maintain a safe and reliable roadway.
