JOHNSON COUNTY, KY MAN SENTENCED TO 13 YEARS IN FEDERAL PRISON ON DRUG AND GUN CHARGES PLEA DEAL

CASE ORIGINATED FROM MAJOR BUST IN JOHNSON COUNTY, KY IN SEPTEMBER 2022 AFTER BEING FOUND TRAFFICKING IN SIX DIFFERENT ILLEGAL DRUGS

GONE UNTIL WELL INTO 2037:- TIMOTHY MORMAN, OF FLAT GAP, KENTUCKY, WAS SENTENCED TO 13 YEARS IN FEDERAL PRISON, AFTER PLEADING GUILTY TO FEDERAL DRUG AND GUN CHARGES AFTER HIS INITIAL ARREST IN JOHNSON COUNTY, KY. IN SEPTEMBER 2022.

A Johnson County Kentucky man has been sentenced to 13 years in federal prison, after pleading guilty to federal drug and gun charges.

Timothy Dewayne Morman, 55, of Flat Gap, K Y., pleaded guilty to possession of Meth, Fentanyl, Cocaine and Oxycodone with the intent to distribute and use o a firearm in a drug trafficking crime. 

He was arrested in September 2022, when the Johnson County Sheriff Office raided his home and found Meth, Heroin, Fentanyl, Cocaine, LSD and Marijuana.

Timothy Morman was indicted by a federal grand jury in Pikeville, KY. in June 2023.

On Thursday, March 14, 2024 a federal judge in U.S. District Court in Pikeville, KY. sentenced Timothy Morman to 96 months for the drug charge and 60 months for the gun charge, for a total of 156 months which is exactly 13 years. He must serve at least 85 percent of his sentence before he is eligible for parole

Timothy Morman is currently in the Pike County Detention Center in Pikeville, KY., awaiting transfer to the federal prison system.

He has been held there since August 31, 2023, after being arrested again several days earlier in Johnson County for felony First Degree Fleeing on foot, Marijuana possession, and a warrant for Failure To Appear in Johnson County Circuit Court.
