May 15, 1931 — March 12, 2026

Dorothea Maxine Saulsbury, 94, of Louisa, KY went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 12, 2026.

Maxine was born May 15, 1931 in Louisa, KY to the late Vinton and Virginia (Fugitt) Nolen. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Rush Saulsbury; brother Danny Nolen; and sisters Ruth Sprenkle, Karen Nolen, and Jean Dickerson.

Maxine was a Christian and was very loved by her family.

Survivors include her daughters Linda and Rose; grandchildren; bother Bobby Nolen; and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be private. She will rest beside her family in Wellman Cemetery.

Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mrs. Saulsbury and her family.
