Debra Leah Hinkle Short, 59, of Louisa, KY passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at Three Rivers Medical Center. Mrs. Short was born July 18, 1960 in Louisa, Kentucky to the late Lafe Smith and Eunice Lee Stambaugh Hinkle.
She is survived by her husband, Bruce Short; two sons, Bruce Alan (Chelsee) Short II and Bryan Smith (Kelly) Short; two brothers, Lafe S (Kathy) Hinkle II and Isaac Randolph “Randy” (Beverly) Hinkle; and one sister, Sharon Hinkle Kinner. She also leaves behind three granddaughters, Lynlee Short, Ellouise Kay Short, and Lucy Short; two nieces, Julia Hinkle (Jason) Rollins and Philana Jones; one nephew, Caleb Short; and two great nephews, Jason Lafe Rollins and Jackston Lowell Rollins.
She was a Homemaker.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 PM on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at the First United Methodist Church of Louisa with Rev. Tammy Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.
Friends may visit the family on Friday, January 31 from 6-9 at Wilson Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Louisa First United Methodist Church Building Fund. All care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.

Deb and I lived across the road, from each other, for many years in Richardson. She was such a wonderful friend. I will miss so much. Prayers of comfort for the Hinkle and the Short families.
