Debra Denise Cassady 60 of Huntington, WV formerly of Ft. Gay, WV passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2019 at the Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, WV.
She was born on April 4, 1959 in Louisa, KY; she was a daughter of the late Arnold and Hazel Roseberry Jackson. She is preceded in death by her parents as well as a brother, Edward Jackson and sister, Barbara Smith.
Debra was a C.N.A. while working for the Grayson Assisted Living Facility in Lavalette, WV and a member of the Macedonia Freewill Baptist Church of Drift Creek, WV.
Debra is survived by her spouse, Crit Arthur Cassady of Huntington, WV, children; Robert Michael Garn of Ft. Gay, WV, Clarence Edward Garn of Ft. Gay, WV, Lucas Scott Garn of Ft. Gay, WV, Robert Michael Garn Jr. of Ft. Gay, WV, William Howard Cassady of Glenhayes, WV, Veronica Delong of Huntington, WV, and Jackie Sue Watts of Wayne, WV as well as 30 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She also leaves behind her siblings; James Jackson of Genoa, WV, Arlin Jackson of Huntington, WV, Juanita Gatchel of Wabash, IN, Rachel Jackson of Ft. Gay, WV, Carolyn Jackson of Ft. Gay, WV, Tammy Laney of West Salem, OH, and Pauline Perkins of Huntington, WV as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at 2:30pm at the Rush Branch Baptist Church with Charlie Maynard officiating. Burial will follow in the Fletcher Cemetery of Genoa, WV.
Visitation will be after 10:00am Thursday at the Church until time of services.
