COACH’S COMMENTS
“… Good Homecoming and Septemberfest Bowl win all rolled into one. Great crowd last night at Luke Varney Jr Memorial Stadium. I know that it means a lot to our players to look in the stands and see that kind of support.”
“…Very pleased how our guys prepared and performed last week with all the extra distractions centered around homecoming. To me that is a sign of a mature football team, with strong leadership from within.”
“… Powell County was a very quality football team, particularly offensively. They are a much better team than their record indicates. We will enjoy last night’s victory today, and tomorrow we will get to work on Greenup County.”
