Bulldog Head Coach Alan Short

COACH’S COMMENTS

“… Very grateful and exited to secure a district title. This accomplishment is something that can be attributed to our players and staff. We have worked diligently to improve each week and I believe that continues to show up each week. Our goal was not to win a district title, but to  build our team and play our best football in November. I can say with confidence that our guys are not satisfied and will come back to practice Monday with the attitude of improvement.”

“… Always a great thing to come out with a win on senior night. Each of our five seniors have left their mark on our program and been positive teammates and valuable in our successes this season. I felt like our team honored them with the way they played tonight. The best part about this class is they aren’t finished yet. We feel like we still have some time left with each of them as the calendar flips to November.”

“… Our team is looking forward to playing Boyd County next week. As always they will present a huge challenge. Coach Ferguson does a great job with their program. They flat whipped us a year ago as we were humbled by them. We are looking for a better showing next week.”
