COACH’S COMMENTS
“… Obviously not the outcome that we wanted. I feel like we played hard, but they were much more physical than we were. We will learn from this and be better in the future.”
“… That was a key moment in the game where our guys responded and kept them out of the end zone before the half. At that point we felt like we were about to get on track. Unfortunately, after the half, we had a good start to a drive but were not able to finish.”
“… It seemed like we weren’t ever able to get on track. Credit North Laurel, they had a great plan. I don’t know that we will see a defense that good the rest of the year.”
“… Not much time to dwell on this game. District play starts next week. We will make our corrections and move on to Letcher Central. They are a talented team and we will have to play much better than we did tonight.“
