DAWG COMMENTS
“… Last season was an amazing one. Being able to block for Noah, Ashton, Dalton, Trey, and Jarrett have been nothing less than exciting. In any given moment they could break off a big play, and for a lineman, you love those. Being able to play along side one of my best friends Caden Ratliff, is also an opportunity I will cherish. I believe that our whole entire offensive line should’ve gotten all area, heck, even all state. I truly believe that. Even though my last season playing high school ball didn’t go as planned, I still am content with the memories I made.”
“… I was very pleased. The amount of work put into football the last 2 years of me starting have been a grind. Last year I got honorable mention, and I thought I did a lot better this year so I was hoping I would get it. When I found it, it was still surreal to see that I was picked out of all of the lineman in the Area. It’s truly an honor.”
“… My coaches , specifically Coach Short. He had pushed me farther than i thought that I could go. Even on a snow day when I overslept, he showed up at my house to get me up to go lift weights. I’d also like to thank my parents for being so supportive of me playing football my whole life, without them I would not have played at all. Also, I want to thank my fellow lineman Caden, for keeping me in check if I forgot a call or an assignment, he was always my second brain.”
“… I would like to go to nursing school and follow in my mom’s footsteps and become a nurse, and eventually a nurse practitioner.”
