Louisa, Ky. — The undefeated Lawrence County Bulldogs coming off a bye will welcome the North Laurel Jaguars to Luke Varney Jr. Memorial Stadium on Friday night.

The Dawgs are 3-0 and haven’t played since beating Ashland 24-21 at home on Thursday September 4th.
In the win over the Tomcats the Bulldog defense forced four turnovers and had big games from Carlo Chicko with 21 tackles, Kaden Johnson with 15 tackles and Cavin Williams with 12 tackles. Cameron Castle, Chandler Preece and Aiden Patton had 9 tackles each. Williams and Carson Fraley had fumble recoveries, Johnson forced two fumbles and intercepted a pass, Andrew Ratcliffe also had an interception.

Bulldog QB Luke Fetherolf went 16 for 21 passing for 211 yards and two touchdowns, he also rushed 6 times for 78 yards.
Kaden Johnson caught 6 passes for 115 yards and 1 touchdown, Carlo Chicko caught 5 passes for 68 yards, Gray Derifield 1 catch for a 20 yard touchdown, Cavin Williams two catches for 11 yards.
Johnson had 6 carries for 47 yards and a touchdown, Cavin Williams rushed 14 times for 31 yards, Mitchell Frazier 2 rushes for 11 yards.

Class 5A North Laurel is 2-1 on the year and is coming off a road victory at Madison Central 9-7 last Friday. The Jaguars beat Perry Central on the road in the first game of the year 21-0 and lost to Corbin 28-14 at home two weeks ago.
North Laurel QB Jude McWhorter is the team’s leading rusher with 267 yards on 60 carries and 3 touchdowns, Cooper Robinson also had 3 rushing touchdowns to go along with 191 yards on 49 carries.
McWhorter is 23-36 for 226 yards and no touchdowns in three games so far.
The leading pass catcher is RJ Noble with 7 catches for 89 yards and Colton Gilbert with 7 catches for 69 yards, Cam Anderson has caught 6 passes.
Brody Pruitt and McWhorter lead the defense with 31 and 21 tackles respectively.

It will also be LCHS Hall of Fame night with the Induction ceremony in the high school lobby beginning at 5:30.
