COACH’S COMMENTS
“… Yep you said it, survive and advance. This time of the year that’s our only focus. Win the day. We did that tonight. Tough night to play baseball having to wait for a really long time to even get started and then play thru constant rain the whole game.”
“… Tyler Maynard stepped up to the challenge and gave us exactly what we expected him to do and needed him to do.”
“… Offensively we had a hard time figuring New out and that’s to his credit. He did a good job of keeping us uncomfortable in the batters box. Jackson hit a big HR in the first inning and it seemed like after that we left men on base the rest of the night until the 6th.”
“… Proud of our guys for moving on. Looking forward to the semifinals.”
