COACH’S COMMENTS
“… A win is a win, we struggled early but really proud of the guys for the way they finished the game. It wasn’t always pretty but we got the job done. We have to get better at starting games. At halftime we just said let’s go play ball and not worry about anything. We didn’t really change anything on defense but the kids played so much harder in the second half.”
“… We will see them again in the first round of the District. They will consider this a victory because of how close it was. They are starting to play better and are a very dangerous team in the postseason.”
“… Against Russell we started poorly and couldn’t recover and get the win. We were down 15-5 and battled all the way back but couldn’t get over the hump.”
“… We have a tough stretch next week with Sheldon Clark, Johnson Central and Paris all on the road.”
