The Dawgs put four players in double figures led by Tyler Maynard with 21 points including 5-5 from the foul line, Lucas Maynard tallied 11 points, Cody Maynard finished with 11 points, Noah Fairchild chipped in 10 points, Chase Sartin went 6-6 from the line and finished with 8 points, Baden Gillispie 7 points and Alex Ratliff 3 points.
LCHS went 23-33 from the charity stripe and hit 3 three pointers.
Prestonsburg 74 Lawrence Co. 67
The Bulldogs traveled to the Prestonsburg field house for their first 58th District game of the year and fell behind by as much as 19 points before crawling all the way back within 3 points before the Blackcats put them away.
Tyler Maynard once again led the way this time with 25 points, Cody Maynard hit 2 threes and finished with 20 points, Chase Sartin and Lucas Maynard 10 each, CJ Fairchild chilled in with 2 points.
LCHS went 12-18 from the line and hit 3 three pointers.
The Dawgs will return to action Tuesday at home vs Belfry, travel to Lewis Co. Wednesday and then travel across the river to face Tolsia at 8:00 in the #RISEabove Rebel Shootout on Thursday.
