CSX Will Be Performing Emergency Rail Repairs That Will Impact Two Crossings In Lawrence County

Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District Railroad Crossing Closures – Lawrence county CSX will be performing emergency rail repairs that will impact two crossings in Lawrence County.

First Closure: KY 644 (Walbridge area) Begins: Monday, March 23 8:00 AM – through Wednesday morning (weather permitting) Full closure at the railroad crossing Motorists must detour before the bridge at Walbridge

Once complete, crews will move to KY 2566 for similar repairs.

Updates will be shared as work progresses. Please Note: KYTC is sharing this information on behalf of CSX. All questions regarding the repairs should be directed to CSX. Stay tuned to our page for updates and plan ahead if you travel in this area!
