Christina Kincaid and Pat Kincaid represent Love Joy Ministries and have hosted the event every year for the past ten years. Country Christmas is held on the first Saturday in December. “Country Christmas gets better every year and we enjoy giving out presents and food during this time of year,” organizer Christina Kincaid said.
“Welcome, we have a sign up table where you receive a ticket to vote for your favorite decorated tree and enjoy free Christmas gifts from local businesses,” Organizer Trena Blackburn told TheLevisaLazer.com.
Kids attending Country Christmas were given free gifts and everyone received a free dinner. Santa and Mrs Claus came by to the interest of the children (and some grownups).
Beautifully decorated Christmas trees of all shapes, types and sizes were voted on as the best decorated tree with the winner to be announced.
Gary Colvin and the local Gideons gave out Bibles to all who wanted one.
Also performing Christmas Songs were Michelle Scaggs and the Carolers.
Groups participating included Louisa Chapter DAR.
Churches included Ft. Gay Church of God and Fuller Ridge Community Church.
“We love to help unite the body of Christ and show the love of Jesus to others. we do many events including this one at Christmas.” Pat Kincaid said.
