Charles Wright, 81, of Louisa, KY went home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 9, 2026, at his home.
Charles was born November 5, 1944 in Lawrence County, KY to the late Henry and Myrtle (Wells) Wright.
Charles was a loving father and loved his family. He enjoyed spoiling his granddaughters. Charles loved all animals.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Helen Wright; brother Willie Wright; and sisters Mary Withrow, Irene Williamson, and Carlon Jarrell.
Survivors include his children Loretta (Andrew) Fuller, Myrtle Wright, Nennie Wright, Charlotte (Cody) Johnson, Henry Wright, and Wayne Wright; and granddaughters Kathy Wright and Andrea Johnson.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, March 13, 2026 at 11:00 AM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Wright Family Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Thursday, March 12, 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home.
Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mr. Wright and his family.
