Louisa City offices also closed after 4 inches of snowfall

LAWRENCE COUNTY KY., Judge Executive Phillip L. Carter has closed all roads until further notice, according to Director of Emergency Services Travis Hughes. Hughes said most roads are treacherous and Carter is acting upon his advice and others in making the decision to close county roads to all except emergency vehicles.

All county offices are closed today because of the snow storm.

The judge is doing this for public safety, Hughes added.

Hughes said the county has set up warming centers shown here and if an emergency occurs, please  call the judge’s office at 606-638-4103

WARMING CENTERS

With temps headed towards the zero mark in the next few days Lawrence County has three warming centers set up, Hughes said.

  1. Lawrence Co. Community Center Louisa
  2. Fallsburg Community Center Fallsburg
  3. Blaine Church of God at Blaine
