Carter Caves State Resort Park To Host Adventure Experience Sept. 21
OLIVE HILL, Ky. (Aug.29, 2024) – Carter Caves State Resort Park will host an Adventure Experience on Saturday, Sept. 21.
This one-day event will provide access to crawling cave tours, rappelling, recreational tree climbs, archery, a leap of faith tree swing, rock climbing, tomahawk throwing and more.
The cost is $75 per person, which includes access to the adventure offerings, commercial cave tours and an all-you-can-eat lunch buffet at Tierney Cavern. The park will provide all necessary gear, including helmets, headlamps and kneepads. Participants should have close-toed shoes for the activities. Participants taking wild cave tours will need to have close-toed shoes with good tread and old clothing that can withstand wet and muddy conditions.

Carter Caves State Resort Park is located at 344 Caveland Drive in Olive Hill, Kentucky, and is known for having the highest concentration of caves in Kentucky. Accommodations are available at the Lewis Caveland Lodge, along with cottages and a campground.
