COACH’S COMMENTS
“… I was happy for these seniors to get the win tonight. They have led this team for a long time and done a great job. These seniors have won 131 games in their career and that’s counting zero for the Covid year! Feltner is the best leader I have had at LC, great player as well. Allie is the coolest kid that never gets rattled and can play every spot! Ella is one of the best players I have had. Very thoughtful and does a good job catching and playing first. Im really going to miss these seniors, but I’m a better person because they have changed my life and I can only hope I had a positive impact on them.”
“… It was cool to see the girls out there in the ole throw back uniforms against Betsy Layne. They didn’t like to slide in them so that was not a good thing but we did win two games in them, we will see if they bring them back out.”
“… Against Shelby Valley I thought we saw the ball well and took advantage of some throwing opportunities that were available. Adkins brings it up there and we were on her. Need to clean up the errors but we hit well enough today to overcome! “
“… Belfry and Shelby Valley are teams we will probably seen come regionals. Always a good day when you can beat both of them. They both have a solid team. We just gotta focus on getting better.”
