Lawrence Co. Head Coach Kenny Horn
COACH’S COMMENTS
“… Anytime you can win a Region game it pretty special. We will take it and move on to the semifinals. I thought we could have done some things better but as a coach you’re always looking to get better. I was happy with the effort for sure. Give Pikeville credit with pitch location and keeping us off balance for the most part. I thought we adjusted pretty well and got the job done and that is all you can ask for.”
“… Our forte is to try and put pressure on the defense, we are not particularly fast but if you put the ball in play and make the defense react you can put pressure on them that way. Put it in the ground or get a bunt down and make them make plays.”
“… When it comes to the region tournament anything can happen and it usually does.”
