Louisa, Ky. — In a 58th District matchup Lawrence County ran past Betsy Layne 84-41 with balanced scoring on Friday night and improved to 3-0 on the season.

Nine different Bulldogs scored led by Kaiden Harris with 17 points including 3 three pointers as the Dawgs used balanced scoring to outman the Bobcats.
CJ Waller added 12 points, Hayden Perry netted 11 points, Andrew Ratcliffe chipped in with 10 points. Caden Muncy had 9 points, Luke Fetherolf and Kaden Johnson had 8 points each, Isaah Hughes had 5 points and Grant Cochran scored 4 points.
Andrew Ratcliffe had 10 points off the bench in a victory over Betsy Layne.

Betsy Layne ( 1-2 ) was led by Brayden Hall with 11 points, Chandler Coleman had 10 points, Cooper Justice 7 points, Ethan Lance 6 points, Isaiah Allen and Caden Hall 3 points each and Canyon Slone 1 point.
The Bobcats hit 1 three pointer and went 7 of 13 from the free throw line.

“… Very proud of our team and their effort in our first district game of the season. The atmosphere and crowd was awesome. Anytime you can start off 1-0 in district play is a bonus. It is a long season and we want to try to improve every day. Our effort and intensity was awesome last night and we are looking to build off of that moving forward.”
