BULLDOG TENNIS WILL BE WELL REPRESENTED IN STATE TOURNEY

Louisa, Ky. — The Lawrence County Tennis team will be well represented in the KHSAA State tournament this week and next week in Lexington. 

Bulldog Junior Chase Kendrick won the 15th Region Singles Championship for the third consecutive year will play at 8:00 Tuesday morning vs Edmonson Co. Junior Brayden Johnson. 

Bulldog Junior Alex DeSario who lost to Kendrick in the finals will play Walton-Verona Freshman Finley Mackay at 10:45 Tuesday morning. 

In the Girls Doubles State Tournament Junior Reagan Webb and Senior Elizabeth Browning will play A. Ray and E. Tagg from Madisonville North Hopkins at 11:30 Tuesday morning. 

In the Boys Doubles State Tournament Juniors Cayden Sweeney and Aiden Myhnier will face off against T. O’Brien and J. Hawkins from Bullitt Central at 8:00 Tuesday morning. 

15th Region Team Tennis Champs

The Dawgs won the 15th Region team competition last week at home and will now advance to play in the Sweet Sixteen beginning Tuesday June 3rd at the Sayre Athletic Complex in Lexington. They will face 13th Region Champ Corbin in the first round.
