COACH KEETON’S COMMENTS
“… Coach Morrison was Very knowledgeable and loved to talk the game of baseball to coaches and players. Sense of humor was great and he kept things from getting to tense sometimes. So much fun to have on long bus trips. Very smart man.”
“… Excellent pitching coach. Great teacher of the knuckle curve.”
“… Casey was excellent all around player. Very good pitcher and infielder who had a quick bat. Played a big roll in the 2003 Regional championship and had successful career at EKU. Injuries hurt his career a little, but developed low 90’s fastball that would move a lot. Fun kid to coach. Very deserving of LC Hall of Fame.”
“ Todd Wilson had and easy going personality, he was fun to coach because he didn’t care if he played other positions. He just wanted to pitch!”
“ Todd was feared by the opposition that knew him and his knuckle curve, there were many, many good pitchers in the area at that time. Ashland, Boyd, Greenup, Johnson Central, West Carter, Hazard had lots of very hard throwers, but none had an out pitch like Todd.”
“ He also went grades 1-12 with perfect attendance at school.”
